Kennedy Mubita Appointed New Digital Exec At The House Of Procurement Group
The House of Procurement Group has, in a statement, announced the appointment of Kennedy Mubita as its new Group Digital Business Executive.
The Group posted on its social media pages celebrating Kennedy for his new role. Kennedy joins the House of Procurement Group after serving at the Standard Chartered Bank for almost 4 years as the Managing Director & Head of Transaction Banking Kenya and East Africa.
In his new role, Kennedy will lead the development of digital innovation strategies across our entire organization, working closely with the CEOs of our subsidiary companies and Group Office management.
Additionally, Kennedy will continue to serve as the Chairman of MeziT and snooCODE Kenya. MeziT is an IoT water and solar energy digital technology service provider that addresses the financing gaps in the water ecosystem. snooCODE Kenya, on the other hand, offers GPS-enabled addressing systems and location services integrated with popular mapping services and logistics platforms.

Kennedy’s extensive experience as the founding Head of SC Ventures Africa, as well as his previous roles as Managing Director and Head of Transaction Banking for Kenya and East Africa at Standard Chartered Bank and Director of Global Transaction Services at Citi for West and Central Africa, will be invaluable to our organization’s growth,” the House of Procurement said in its social media posts.
Over his career, Kennedy has had his longest stay at Citi where he served for over 25 years. His last role at Citi was the Director & Head of Treasury and Trade Solutions, right before he left to join Standard Chartered Bank.
Kennedy holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business Strategy from Emeritus, Singapore and is also a UK Chartered Certified Accountant.
